JJ Caldwell - Tyson
Jocelyn Jan (JJ) has loved and ridden horses her entire life. JJ began showing horses at the young age of 6 and 25+ years later she still hasn’t stopped!
JJ has competed in a myriad of events including; Jumping, Dressage, Eventing, Western Pleasure, Hunter Under Saddle/Equitation and Halter. Never content with previous accomplishments, JJ is currently working on mastering cow/ranch horse events.
Having previously kept her horses with trainers or at nearby stables, JJ has realized her dream of keeping horses right at home in her own facility: Double J Ranch-West, located in the heart of horse country within Whitesboro, Texas.
Though currently focusing on AQHA/APHA/PHBA registered horses, JJ has owned and competed on a variety of different breeds throughout her life including Warmbloods, MorAbs and Thoroughbreds…in addition to a handful of Mini’s and Donkeys just for fun! An animal lover, JJ was drawn to horses in particular and is the quintessential “Horse-Girl” who feels that no outfit is complete without a few horse hairs on it.
Throughout her equestrian career JJ has acquired numerous awards & titles including;
In addition to numerous other ROM’s, SUPERIOR's, AQHA & APHA Grand’s in Halter, as well as an impressive quantity of year-end awards including Western Pleasure, Color, Halter, English and All Around Events.
