Texas-Ramona's Facility

The Alexander, Arkansas farm was the first horse operation acquired by Double J Ranch. It was purchased in the late 1990’s to allow both Ramona and JJ to enjoy at least some of the horses at home, as previously their horses had been kept at boarding facilities or with trainers. The Alexander Arkansas facility has since been sold.
In 2010 Double J Ranch's second Texas facility began construction. The state-of the-art breeding and training facility was completed and ready for move in during the summer of 2011. The new facility is Ramona’s home base, it’s a lovely equestrian facility boasting a large, climate controlled barn for the stallions and show horses and lush pastures for the operations broodmares and foals to run in. This facility focuses primarily on training and producing the Halter Horses and is also the official home of AQHA Stallion Enquest.
Roughly half of Double J Ranch’s horses reside with Ramona. However, often times, depending on what breeding, training and show schedules require, different horses are shuttled back and forth to the two Texas farms.
